What Is Rubber?

Rubber (which is used for rubber profile) is a polymer-based material that exhibits high elasticity and flexibility, stretching under tension and returning to its original form when released. It has two main types: natural and synthetic.
Natural rubber is produced by collecting latex obtained from the bark of the Hevea brasiliensis tree. The collected latex undergoes coagulation (typically with acid), washing, drying, and pressing processes to produce raw rubber.

Synthetic rubber, on the other hand, is produced through the chemical polymerization of petroleum-derived monomers (such as butadiene, styrene, and acrylonitrile). The resulting polymer is mixed with fillers and additives, shaped, and then subjected to vulcanization to produce the final elastic and durable rubber product.
